6 Tips to Help You Achieve Spiritual Balance as a Psychic or Empath

 I've always known myself to be one who cares about balance in life, heck I'm a Libra!

 

But when my psychic business began to take off I noticed I was struggling with finding a healthy balance between home life, personal time, and my psychic business.

 

I mean seriously, who ever said juggling it all was going to be easy anyways, right?

 

Whether or not you are a psychic, finding balance can sometimes be a challenge. However, being intuitive seems to come with a whole gamut of extrasensory experiences. This is because we are EXTRA sensitive to energy.

 

More often than not, and without consciously being aware, we are sensing and feeling the energy of those around us on a whole other level. This can make things feel and appear tougher when you are trying to balance a “normal” life.

 

So, how does a psychic, healer, or empath find some much needed harmony in the chaos of energy? Well I’m glad you asked. I comprised a list of 6 tips I implemented to ensure my life and career would thrive:

 

 

Letting go of Guilt

The “guilt monster” is dangerously sneaky, and often times we fall into a trap of feeding it rather than abandoning it. Instead of dwelling on guilty emotions it's best to use that energy in a positive and constructive manner.  If you took a moment to ponder on guilt maybe you could ask yourself the following questions:  What guilty emotions are you prepared to let go of now?  Or, is this guilt serving you any longer?

Intentions & Affirmations:

 

I am a firm believer in daily affirmations and suggest using them to remind yourself of how incredibly special you are (even if you aren’t feeling like a superhero at the moment).   A few affirmations I really enjoy are: (1) I allow myself to feel joy in this moment; (2) I play a vital role in my life; (3) I am a wonderful spouse/mother/friend; (4) My career brings me joy and I am happy to inspire others; and (5) It is easy to be creative, happy, successful, and balanced.
 


Meditation is Key

Meditation is a great way to help you connect with your Spirit.  But introspection doesn't have to be a formal practice, it can be informal too!  If you are strapped for time and your to-do list is taking precedence, take advantage of those busy moments and do a quick meditation to quiet your mind.  You can play with your clairvoyance by daydreaming in the shower, use your clairaudience by tuning in while doing housework or walking the dogs, or practice your claircognizance while working out at the gym or shopping at the store.

Setting Boundaries

Setting boundaries is a crucial part in regaining balance.  As a “sensitive”, setting energetic boundaries is extremely important as we are interacting constantly with the energy of others.  Energy doesn’t pick sides - good or bad - we are going to pick up on it and it’s great to be prepared!

 

An easy tool to use for setting boundaries is to see a mirror in your third eye.  Imagine the mirror is standing up in front of you with the reflection facing away from you.  Set the intention that the energy from others will not absorb into your field, but rather reflect back off the mirror to the individual who sent the vibration your way.  Give it a try!  I bet you will be surprised how much “clearer” you feel.

Stay Organized

Having a plan - even if it's a small one - can keep you feeling prepared.  Creating a daily list helps those of us with busy minds and lifestyles.  If list making doesn’t work for you, figure out what does work to keep you on track. Bottom line, figuring out what is currently most important and prioritizing will help any overfilled schedule.
 

 
Finding time for YOU

I believe these moments are the most crucial parts of the day.
 This is when you solely focus on exactly what your soul, mind, or body needs for nourishment.  This might look like you reading a book, going into prayer, enjoying a run, spending one-on-one time with your little ones, taking the car out for a drive, or anything that makes you feel amazing. 

 

 

Balance does not have to be difficult to achieve.  The biggest challenge we often have to overcome is ourselves.  You can absolutely live a more centered life if you take a few simple steps that move you in the right direction.  So take a deep breath and know that your life can be fun, exciting, and easy.  It’s all available for the taking!
